Awarded: Adobe Achievement Awards 2019 Top Talent
"Letterforms" was my senior thesis in college. I wanted to use my love of typography and illustration to create an alphabet inspired by different design movements throughout history. In curating this collection, I wanted to design each in a completely different style, but still have the piece viewed as a cohesive whole from a far. The final letters were printed as large 13"x13" illustrations and mounted on a gallery wall.
This project was later awarded The Adobe Top Talent Award
Each letter went through many rounds of revisions. They started out as analog drawings, went through several sheets of tracing paper for minor adjustments and were later vectorized in Adobe Illustrator.
